Clayton's 1st Dental Visit

Clayton had his first visit to the dentist last week! For his first time, we decided to take him to Indiana and have his Grandma Herring clean his teeth. He was so excited to get to go to the dentist (may it always be so). :-)  He did such a good job and wasn't scared at all. Of course, it helped that he knew who was working on his teeth. (Check my Facebook page for a really cute video.)

Sitting in the big chair.

 Getting ready.

Meeting all the instruments.

Sunglasses so the bright light wouldn't hurt his eyes.

Open W-I-D-E.

Check from the doctor - all is well!

A fun toothbrush to take home,

a toy from the treasure chest,

  and a hug from Grandma!

Addy was just dying to have a turn, so she got a quick, mini-version of a dental visit.

Thought this was such a cute picture of Addy and her Papaw.

They looked so sweet and I bet grandma was happy to be able to do this for them and the picture of Addy and her grandpa is so cute. Great grandma Herring.

That's excellent. Being familiar with the person or environment is a boon. When it comes to the dentist, having that sense of ease can do wonders in making the process more convenient.

Those pictures are so cute! It's a great thing that your mother is a dentist. That will save you from dental insurances and other payments. And the gifts your mom gave to Clayton and her patients are surely treasured and used!

If you cry at the dentist you get more toys. That's my theory at least. But I never get hugs and smooches from my hygienist, though!
