James Family: In the House

Family pictures are so fun to capture - especially when the client asks you to take them in their home!  I love how relaxed and comfortable everyone usually is - just because they are so familiar with where they are.  And what a fun family this was! You could tell they loved being together.  I so enjoyed using all the fun spaces they had.

the Profitt family

Fall is such a great time for photos and family pictures are my favorite!  I was so delighted to photograph the Profitt family. I used to work with Aaron & Lisa, and they now have such a fine family.  Their 3 sweet boys were angels to photograph!  Here are a few favorites.

Chase

We got to meet sweet little Chase last month. Leah is a cousin to Aaron, so it's always super special to be able to photograph family!  We had originally planned an outdoor session, but had to go to Plan B due to the pouring rain.  He was a trooper though, and finally got a little smile at the end.

I was so happy our dear friends, Mark & Kristin, asked me to take a few shots of them before they become a family of 3.  We had so much fun during this photo session - I definitely got my laugh quota in for the day!  Here are a few shots from our fun session...

Good Neighbors

Good neighbors are worth a lot and we are blessed to have good neighbors on all sides of us. 
The sweet family across the street has 4 children, of which the youngest 2 are really good friends with Clayton and Addyson.  I recently did a family photo session of them and here are a few favorites.

All 17

These photos are priceless.  If you only knew what we went through to get 17 kids all in the same picture, then you would understand how much of a miracle this is!  Each family has the same shirt color and the grandkids are numbered in birth order, 1 through 17.  The ages range from 16 years old down to 1 year old.  The cousins have a blast together - just wish we didn't live in 4 different states (Missouri, North Caroline, Ohio, and Tennessee).

OuterBanks - us

It was so much to get together with all our vacation friends last night and reveal all the photos - not just the professional ones, but all our snapshots too.  We laughed all over again and talked about all the funny memories we made. 

I love all the photos from each of the families!  It was a little tricky getting some of our own family, but Abbey Stetler helped us out.  I would shoot some of her and then give her the camera, fix what I could, and then hop in the photo. :-)  We had a lot of fun and laughs - some of the out takes are something else!  :-)
