I was delighted to meet my new nephew during our Christmas stay in Missouri and also delighted to take his picture! Dana and Phil's new baby, Elijah, is simply adorable. I haven't sorted all the pictures yet, but just had to share these two really cute ones!
A glimpse into a few happenings from the Herring household and a few images from my camera lens.

Christmas Sunday!
Clayton's first Christmas Sunday!
Clayton wore this white shirt for our family picture that we had taken the weekend of Thanksgiving. I can't button his sleeves now, so this is the first and last time he'll wear this outfit.
Disclaimer: I didn't realize until Sunday morning that I didn't have any black socks for Clayton. Aaron nearly died when I had to put white socks on Clayton with this outfit. He even apologized to Clayton for it! (What a kid - can't button his sleeves and wearing white socks!)

SS Class Party
We had a great time at our Sunday School class Christmas party last Thursday night. I just love this great group of people - it is such a treat to have this many young couples to go to church with!
Fun, fun times!
Some people nearly got hurt when we were grabbing presents in the numbers game - but we all managed to walk away with two good legs when it was over. :-)
Pass the Present was fun too. We kept unwrapping when the music stopped and passed it on when it started up again.
The game that got the most laughter was when we had to draw a picture on TOP of our heads without looking. This was absolutely hilarious!
Just in case you can't tell what Chris's picture is . . . this is a Christmas tree, a fireplace with a stocking hanging on it, and a present underneath the tree. Hmmm . . .
Fun, fun times!

Then and Now
Wow! It's so hard to believe that Clayton is now 10 weeks old!! I was thinking he certainly looked bigger in his Moses Basket, but was amazed at these comparison pictures.
This first picture was his first night at home (at 3 days old) . . .
And this picture was taken this morning (at 10 weeks old)! My how time flies!

Jennifer + snow = extra fun senior session
I was absolutely delighted to wake up to snow last Saturday! Jennifer was scheduled to have her senior pictures taken that afternoon and I have always wanted to get some photos of a senior in the snow. She was such a good sport in the freezing snow - we had a lot of fun! We even added her adorable little sister for a couple shots. :-)

GBS Christmas Program
This weekend was the GBS Christmas Program. Kevin asked me to take pictures at the dress rehearsal, so here's a few for those that missed it. I loved the set and costumes this year. My favorite character was the statue (you did great, Ryan!). I didn't realize the statue was a real person until he moved - apparently the crowd didn't either by the audible gasps. :-)

Thanksgiving Fun!
We had such a good Thanksgiving in Indiana. Of course everyone wanted to see Clayton instead of us. When we arrived in Westfield on Wednesday night, Aaron's mom had put this on the garage door . . . :-)
We headed to Upland, IN to Grandma Herring's for Thanksgiving lunch.

Grandma Young meeting Clayton for the first time. She was thrilled to hold her first great-grandchild.

We had our first family picture taken of the 3 of us on Saturday by the photographer that I used to work for when we lived in Indy. I ironed our shirts the night before and got tickled when I saw the 3 sizes hanging in the doorway. :-)
