Yum!

I tried my hand at the grill this week. Aaron is normally the "grill master", but he was working a little later than usual, so I thought I'd give it a try. The grill menu: T-bone Steaks and Asparagus. The steaks were delicious and the asparagus was to die for! I'd never actually even bought asparagus until this week. I was inspired to try grilling it after listening to Cooking with Marilyn on the radio. It was SO good and SO easy, which means we will definitely have this again!

Yum! You have turned into a gourmet chef, Brenda! The kabobs we had on Friday night were wonderful too! Enjoyed the visit. Love, Clayton's Grandma Herring :)

Asparagus is so yummy! I never fix it because I'm sure that I'm the only one in the house who would eat it. Why didn't they come up with more "tasty" names for some of those veggies? I sure think it would have helped my cause! I have never tried the grill, either. Looks good, though, maybe I'll get brave!

That food looks wonderful!! I just talked to a friend who had just fixed roasted asparagus that night for supper. She said her family loves it!! I think I'm adding that to my shopping list!

Love that apron!! :-)

Deanna - Grilling the asparagus was so easy. I put the asparagus on aluminum foil (we don't have a grill basket yet), sprinkled them with a little olive oil and kosher salt, and then wrapped the foil over them. Placed on grill and grilled for 8 minutes. Tender crisp and YUMMY!

Our kids love asparagus. Good roasted in the oven as well! We'll have to put them on the menu soon.

OH YUM!!!! I LOVE asparagus and have not thought of grilling them before, so maybe I can try that soon. Chris is not a huge fan of asparagus, so maybe this will be a tastier way to fix them. Your kebobs on another post look picture perfect! Glad you are feeling better!
