A Heavenly Banquet

Friday night, Aaron and I went to the high school Jr/Sr Banquet for Union Bible Academy. We've taken pictures at their banquets for several years now and I always enjoy seeing the different themes and decorations they have each time. This year the theme was Heaven - and it was very beautifully decorated. They had beautiful white pillars, white balloons for the clouds, white tulle, white lights, and the Pearly Gates with large "H's" on the gates. The servers for the dinner (the sophomore girls) were dressed up as angels. And even the chocolate in the chocolate fountain for dessert was white. It was a really neat idea and very well done!

Aaron - who patiently (usually) lets me test my lights on him before we start.

Here are some of the couples!

The ones that went to a lot of work planning the banquet - The Junior Class!

Great pics, Brenda!! One of these days I need to have you take our family. I'm waiting for Sean's face to heal up from scratches & bruises at the moment. ;-) Did you take any pics of the decorations, choc. fountain, etc...? I would enjoy seeing their ideas if you did.

Hey, Brenda?

Is Janan Glick in one of those pics?

Deanna - I didn't take any pictures of the other decorations or fountain - I should have though, because they were neat! Would love to do your family picture sometime!

Luanna - Yes, Janan Glick is the one in the black and pink dress.

What a neat theme!!! We often benefit with using their themes/stuff at our youth camp banquets since many UBC'rs are "Pilgrims" as well. Maybe we'll get to use that one in the near future...hope so!
***Hope to at least be able to say "hi" to ya this weekend! Judging by last year, the mass of people nearly made it impossible to find anyone you know, but maybe...! Congratulations!
